getting them sober
I was thinking about getting one of these books. But I didn't know which one was best. Anybody read any of these books. I read all the excerpted chapters that are available for free already, but I just thought I might get some additional input here. Thanks in advance!

I have One and Two,and love them both! I still re-read them often. I got them at book stores, but am seriously considering ordering the others. From my understanding, Vol. Two was written with info that "didn't fit" into the original.
I doubt that you "could go wrong" with any of them.
BTW, at one time, you could get a free video tape and volume one sent to you,for the asking (at the website) as a service; hoping you would then pass it along to another in need. I am not sure if they still do that, but it is worth checking out,IMO!

I got em all!!!
Pick actually suggested the suthor when I was a "newbie" here on SR. And while I have a "library" or books, (codependany no more, al anon reading, the BB, ect) This by far is the series I can relate to the most.
I personally like volume 4 as it "fits" where I am right now, detachment and the questions that accompany it. So I guess I "cheated" by not starting with volum one, but thats the part I like about the books. You can "look up" topics that match the questions you may have.
Highly recommend the investment.
And thanks again PICK, you probably have no idea how your suggestion HELPED me on my journey. But I am grateful for the gift
Peace
