Freeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!
June 27, 2004.
That was the date that my wife and I split.
I came on here not too long after that. I went though all the stages I see all the newbies going through.
Want to FIX things.
Endless crying, loss, fears, and oh yes the big one, DENIAL.
For those who know my twisted tale you remember.
For those new, check out the name and to my beginning.
Since that time I’ve been through a lot.
At times here I’ve been told I’m much too harsh for speaking my mind at times and not pulling any punches, which is true.
Reason being is it took that hard line approach to get me out of that stupid pity party I got stuck in.
It took a hard look at the TRUTH to get me from wasting my life trying to change another.
But all that aside. Something happened today that closed a chapter.
In a default hearing in court today I was granted my divorce.
There comes a time in your life when you have to bury the dead and I tell you there are only so many times you can run over a dead animal , you have to bury it some time.
Today was that day.
The legal is over. I feel even more free now.
People there is light at that end of the dark tunnel.
This time it ain’t the head lights of a drunk wife!!

I've followed your story, Mr. C, and seen how you have grown. It's great that you've moved on with your life and quit going down that road to nowhere. Congratulations!!!

Learning how to be calm in the core is long and sometimes difficult journey. The truth will set you free. Staying true to your core, naturally attracts others. Harsh and offending becomes a perception. It's only when reflected back that you realize what the words can mean.
Some of what I perceive as harsh and offending are the very things that made me see,,,

Awesome Mr. C, I don't see too many posts from you. Usually it is a reply. When I see you reply to some of my stuff I smile and get ready for it. You are very honest but I appreciate that. Congrats on your big day and thank you.

i always love to read your replies, too.....hard core truth, yes......that is refreshing after living with the garbely-yuk-yuk-yuk that we have heard for years with the alcoholic in our lives.
