Smile Life is Good

Hi everyone, I went to visit my son this weekend. He is in a 90 in-patient program. He has been there about 6 weeks. He is doing soooo good! It's a small place only 8 guys. He introduced me to everyone and I was so impressed. You could just feel the love they have for eachother. I hope you know what I mean. He knows these men and they know him better than most of his friends or family do. He is so open about his recovery the ups and downs. He has learned so much. I really feel like his life is going to be better than it's ever been. He has told me that he will go to AA forever and he is so happy!

Just wanted to share because there is hope for all of our A's. They just have to decide that they want help!

All of you have helped me so much and I know that I will continue to need help and support but at the moment I couldn't feel better!

Great news D Mom!

I will add mine as well. My ex-A was also in a long term rehab recently and formed some very strong friendships there as well. One day at at time, he is living a sober and healthy life. I can't tell you how much this means to our son. I LOVE good news. I'm glad you are having some about your son. When life is good, we just have to celebrate and give thanks.
Peace,
Gabe

WONDERFUL NEWS D MOM!!!!

Hearing good news from one of you makes me smile!

Even though there are ups and downs with my husbands drinking I know he is trying and that makes me smile too!

Life is good no matter what. I am thankful everyday for what we have!

Enjoy,

DMOM
so very glad your son has sought recovery !what a joy !
I came back yesterday from a spiritual retreat and I have
been enveloped in so much unconditional love that my spirit
soars even though things I cant control remain the same.
I am changed on the inside .

much love
