things i am grateful for today

my three youngest grandbabies....all in punkin seats...were at the same gas station i was at today....pure joy

my daughter and daughter-in-law were out with the babies, just running errands and it was such a pleasure to see the happiness in that van

i went to doc for check up....lost 15 lbs since last visit

blood sugar is still just fine

i have tulips up

my rudy-dog is still perking along at 12, and he loves me

i planted onion sets today in my martha stewart garden

all of my laundry is done

i threw out all my ugly big girl panties and bought pretty big girl panties

and i received my two new dvds from ebay...grumpy old men and grumpier old men...love love love these movies...watching them now!

anyone else grateful?

embraced, it made me smile thinking about everything that happened to you today that you were grateful for!

i don't know about indiana, but the weather up here in chicago was absolutely beautiful today. i drove around with my windows down, my hair blowing, my music turned up loud, and i sang my heart out. it felt SO GOOD!

i also spent some time reading a book today that i just haven't had any time for the past few days... it was nice to have some me time

I had so many people help me today. A neighbor, my son, his friends. Things needed to be done to fix up the place for the open house and I couldn't do it all alone. I so grateful that people helped me. My mother has helped me alot over these hard months too.

it's early, but for this morning, i am grateful for:

the first time in over a year, i actually have a true day off....a full 24 hours.

my granddog, that i'm babysitting for, actually pottied outside (shes a little silky terrier and has never been housebroke at 7 months old)...i was so happy!!!!!! i said...daisy, potty....and she did! hell, i was so happy i could have ate the doggy treat!

did i mention, i do not have to be at work until 7 am TOMORROW MORNING!!!!!

i'm grateful that i have the whole day ahead of me to react to and practice my recovery skills with every reaction.

i'm grateful that i can cook all day long if i want without being interrupted.

i'm grateful that i can go to the bathroom without having someone come in the office and ring that bell. and i'm sittin on the john.....i just don't like that at all.....

i'm grateful the i got through yesterday, fairly unscathed, and feel wonderful about the outcome of my own actions.

Today I'm grateful for unexpected tax refunds, my loving family and friends, and Josie the Office Dog (she's a morkie... maltese+yorkie).

I'm also grateful that soon I'll find out what all the plants around my house are! It's hard to tell right now, when they're dormant.

The birds have arrived back, I am thankful today for the big fat beautiful Cardinal outside my window right now, all the chickadees, Robins and Finches. Plenty of seed for everyone. I am grateful for a yard with birds in it, the signs of Spring and the prosperity of being able to not only provide enough but provide in abundance. To a hungry bird, you are everything. It takes so little to please some. We forget that.

Ahhhhhh---finally some happy news for a lot of you--what a blessing just to read your blessings it is.
I am thankful for
the changing of the seasons
new birds arriving
garden starting to sprout
Lotte my pooch
I have lost 35 pounds
My physical pain is at a level I can tolerate today.
FOR ALL OF YOU--who are trying to help me and each other hold it all together and head towards the light......

hi everybody :-)

i just wanted to say that even though my drama is on another board i still check in once in a while - it is nice to be grateful once in a while isn't it? the weather here in central indiana makes it easy to be grateful...

so today i am grateful for this beautiful day...

i'm grateful for a nice clean house, free from the puking of the weekend...

i'm grateful for the windchimes and the breeze that makes them sing...

i'm grateful that today is drama free...

and i'm grateful that i've come to know all of you and your wisdom you're willing to share...

godspeed,
s

My goodness...this grateful thread is so inspiring, it makes me want to....teach the world to sing in perfect harmony.....But I won't....my singing voice sucks! It's even worse than my writing skills.

Anyway, I'm grateful today is a beautiful day. I've opened up all the windows and was inspired to rearrange my bedroom so that from my bed I can see the woods behind my apartment (nothing like starting the day right).

I'm also grateful for the peace I feel inside right now and for the almost 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep I got last night. Sleep is so healing.

And, of course I'm grateful for all of you here. I would not have progressed as much as I have without all of you and SR. Of course, I still have a long way to go though....

Okay....I can't sing, but I can hum.....hum hum hum hum hum hum hum hum.....
Tell me, was I easier to deal with when I was sleep deprived?
