My AH Started Treatment!

My AH started treatment today. The evaluation appointment went well, and he is to go back next Monday to start his counseling sessions. He seems to be in a positive mood and wants us to do something together tonight. It's a date....haven't had one of those in a long time!

I just wanted to ask everyone to keep us in your thoughts and prayers...it will not be easy, he's been an addict for 15+ years. For those of you who don't know (since I usually post on F&F of SA), his DOC is crack, second drug of choice is alcohol. He is going to quit both because he realizes the alcohol triggers the urge to do the crack. This is just the first step. His family is behind him 100% and willing to offer support as needed.

Things seem to be looking up.

The path to recovery always begins with one step. I'm so happy he's decided to seek help.
Even more inpressive is what you wrote...
"HE" started..., "HE" goes back..."HE" realizes...
