the tie that binds
first of all, many, many thanks to all that have helped me here.
there is something i need to relate to all.
we all share a common bond....the effects of living with alcoholism. we have all been there, doing that, going through that, or made it through. we are united in the fact that we have all faced the same monster of addictions in our loved ones. i consider that unification very special, in that we KNOW where each other have been or are at. and we know the damage. some of you know the recovery. some of us are trying to know the recovery. some of us are looking for answers. some of us are just wanting to take the next breath without it hurting so badly.
today is a new day for me. i want to value, and validate everyone that comes here for support or understanding. i want to honor that tie that binds us all....i want and need help in recovery, and want to offer support to those that are searching for help.
i want all to know that despite personality differences, today i know we are all united in our quest for serenity and sanity.
i want you all to know how much help you were to me and how much i appreciated that help.
just wanted you to know
blessings
