Thank you all for the birthday wishes!!!!
I did have a great day. My Co-workers went all out since it was the big 50!
I came to work to find black balloons, crepe paper, big signs on the windows and doors, etc. My office chair was missing but had been replaced with a wheelchair.......lol.......laughed my ass off. The there was a better than sex chocolate cake with 50 burning candles!!
My mom came and took me to lunch and gave me some very beautiful gifts. She never lets me down!
Hubby, well, he tried. He did send a card and called mid-afternoon (a little late, but I think he was afraid and had to work up the nerve) to ask me out to supper if I didn't already have plans. I agreed to go and we had a pleasant evening. Went to our home group meeting after supper and had birthday cake there.
I had a very eventful and pleasant day. Thing is I had no expectations, therefore no disappointments and it was one of the best birthdays ever.
