hey...can anyone tell me how these things work? i'd love to be a part of it...i've just been sober for over four months now and i would love to have someone to talk to about everything...i'm in an aftercare program but it would still be nice if i could have another sort of support group to talk things out with...am i welcome?

Yes the meetings are held in the Chat Room/Meeting Room at 9:00 pm EST. The topic I will choose but please...if you are brand new and would like to offer a topic of Recovery Interest to me please do! I will try to be in chat room a little ahead of the meeting.
The protocol is that I will host and ask friends to share in order. We type a ! to raise our hand to share and I call upon you. Then type DONE. when finished your share so I and the others know when you are finished.

Boy - do i need a meeting. but since i recently became disabled this would be a great second best and i look forward to regular meetings.
i probably will just watch and learn the format for my first meeting.
