Just a little note to say:
Dont know what things you have all done in the past keep yourself sane, but over the years when I have locked myself away in my room(more than i can count) I started a sketch book full of drawings and poems.
This has now escalated and I think I have somewhere in the reigon of 35 sketch books FULL. I was digging through alot of things the other day and came accross this poem below. I was 13years old at the time and reading it makes me laugh at how childish it was Lol! but i remember how exited I was that mum hadn't drank for a whole week..... just though you might wanna chuckle to yourselves too....
Needless to say I never gave it to my mum or read it out because by the time I found the courage she was back on the ale. I dont even think she knows about the sketch books. But it's kinda nice keeping something to myself...(from mum that is)
Anybody have anymore??.......
Just a little note to say:
Sometimes you have hurt me
Sometimes you make me smile
But along the road to your recovery
The heartaches been worthwhile
Look at you now, you are glowing
Your happy and we are all happy too
This time last year I thought id lose you
But now there’s the future to look to
One-day ill make you a grandma
And dad will be a grandad too
But not any time soon, so don’t panic
I fancy living life to the max before I do
I’m glad that you met dad
And glad that dad finally found you
Just think how good looking your kids are
You didn’t both do so bad, come on..did you?
I know I can be a moody cow
But it must your Genes to passed down to me
We can both be as bad as each other
But I always win because you love me, you see
When you grow old and need looking after
I’ll be the one to give you a squeeze
But there are a few more years to look after me yet
So don’t get ahead of yourself please!
I love you but you love me more
Or so you think you do
I just agree with you it’s easier
But you don’t love me more than I love you!
