AH and I have had a few good days...
And here I am thinking, "is this allthat bad?" Crazy how my mind plays tricks on me. I AM leaving. I AM making myself, ready or not. I am moving out of state an donce that happens, there is no turning back. I know that is how I need it. Yet, here I am today, questioning it. Forgetting all the bad just because we've had a good six weeks. Of course, they've been all about him and his recovery from a terrible car accident. When I say "good" I guess that means no chaos, no lies to mention, no drinking....sad.
I must m inimize things in my mind because the bad is just that, very bad. If I look at the entire picture, I can' tbelieve I'm still here.
Do any of you end up taking things one at a time, not looking at the whole? As if you go from incident to incident, each one is the first?
My therapist told me other people give people a "three strikes" rule. As in they REMEMBER past things and after about three things leave a relationship. I've over run those three things a few dozen times.

Here's a saying I keep reminding myself when I don't look at the whole picture:
"Play the tape from the beginning."
For me that is going back to all my old posts here at SR....
Gets real clear for me after the first few........
