Kind of at a loss
Wow what a weekend.Its been a great year being sober comming up at the end of this month.I jest got off the phone with my wife who i pushed away when my drinking got bad.We talked for an hour and i asked her if she thought it was time to come back or to go on with our own lives now.I was shocked when she said i think we should go our own ways.So i guess i kind of expected it but the truth is its starting to hit me now.But i tell you theres no way in heck that i,m going to pick up that drink,but to be honest it did cross my mind.So as they say life goes on thanks.......

Dave, hang tough. I'm coming up on my one year at the end of next month, both recovery and relationship-end wise, and I have had to sit back and look at where I was then, and where I am now...you are not the same person that you were then, if you have worked the steps, and God has blessed you with a new start for a new life. Enjoy JUST this day and JUST this moment and know that what happens, happens for a reason...(((hugs)))))
