Today I am gratefull for life and family
I am so gratefull for life.While I was still drinking(age 41)I had 2 heart attacks 9 months apart. At age 46 I had a difibulator put in At age 49 This thing went off 3 times in 1 night.The worse my health got the more I drank.I thought I was dead anyway.At age 50 things happened in my life that lead me to AA.Have not had heart problems since.Drank 6 cases of beer a week and worked.I thank GOD,family and my AA family.I Am 2 years and 9 months sober.

Today I am greatful I have rent to pay,, as it means I have a warm place to sleep tonight. I am greatful I have Laundry to do ,, as it means I will be wearing clean clothes. I am greatful I have Dishes to wash,, as it means I have ate something today. I am greatful for a loving caring higher power and the program of Narcotics Anonymous,, as it means I have HOPE today. 14 month's and 14 days Clean. My name is an Addict , and problem has always been Dean.
