Beautiful Day
What a glorious day it was yesterday. My husband and I, and the dog, went a drive to the beach. The sun was shining, and a gentle breeze. Perfect!
We watched the kiddies that were there, paddling, digging holes in the sand looking for treasures 😁 and collecting shells - simple pleasures. I even had a paddle along the shore line, and the water was warm.
Sometimes, we need to remind ourselves of the beauty around us, and enjoy the simple pleasures. Take time to "smell the roses". It's good for the soul.

It sounds like a wonderful day Bute.
You are so right, there is beauty around us just waiting for us to show up. We can sit in the darkness or embrace the beauty of the light and just let our troubles sit behind.
You inspire me to find a good beach today, there are several near here but they fill up quickly on weekends.
