So it's good that I'm two months sober but my life is sort of a mess.
I'm addicted to smoking/vaping and diet soda. I'm on day 1 off cigarettes and yesterday I only drank 3L of diet soda instead of my usual 7-8.
My mental state is terrible. Very bad anxiety in particular. Then there's hearing voices. I have an appt with my psychiatrist coming up so I'll see what he can prescribe. I have another month of Ativan for when things get very bad with the voices and anxiety.
There are things I can do myself to help the anxiety/agoraphobia. Instead of holing myself up in my room, I can expose myself more to the outside world. So today I'm going for a walk at 6am. Then I'm going to collect my welfare at 10am instead of getting my dad to collect it.
Some good things are maybe happening. I might be starting a job in June. It's community employment so it'd be 20 hours a week and the social welfare would pay me, but it might build my confidence to apply for full time jobs.
Another good thing right now is that I've started exercising, running and strength training. I have a few pounds to lose but I'm mainly doing it for the mental benefits. Went for a run yesterday and really looking forward to my run tomorrow. Strength training today. Might start Yoga with Adriennes's 30 day challenge too today.
