A life beyond your wildest dreams?

Absolutely!

My life now is so far removed from when my life seemed like my only future would be lying in a gutter somewhere.

There is a wonderful life available in recovery; it starts with peace of mind and to be honest if I only had that I’d be grateful as that’s priceless to me. The material things take care of themselves when you allow life to take its natural course.

Truly grateful to be sober 🙏

My life is so much better sober, and so much simpler. No regret or shame, no waking up feeling awful, no hating myself. I am able to deal with whatever comes my way. My dream has always been to have a peaceful life, and now I've got that.

If I had tried to imagine what sober life would be like, I wouldn't have imagined what I have in a mill years. I only wanted to not be drinking and accept what I got after that.
I sometimes briefly think this can't be real and when is the **** going to hit the fan.

So far so good.

Have a good weekend.

If all I got out of sobriety was not drinking, I'd be happy too, but sobriety gives you so many new doors to open. I gravitated toward the doors that led to self discovery. Sometimes you don't have to even open the doors. Your life changes almost on it's own. And calling it "priceless" resonates with me as well. How can something that doesn't cost you a dime, be worth so much?

Thanks for the inspiration! I've been looking for that peace of mind for a long time and now I know I've finally discovered the way forwards towards achieving it. I've decided to stop worrying about the future because I figure if I keep taking care of myself, by staying sober, exercising, and eating healthy everything wonderful will fall into place.
