Made it to day 100. Woohoo! It wasn't easy. The AV & cravings still haunt me. I was craving a drink last night. I did not give in. That is the key. Never Ever put a drop to your lips once you have quit.

Hey there, congrats on 100 days! I do pray the obsession leaves you. I found that only happened once I was begging my higher power daily to take it from me and constantly living sobriety. Daily meetings and the steps by the grace of God rid me of the existence of the desire for a drink. Best of luck in your journey, here's to another 24 hours.
Fantastic job on your first 100 days travelbug!
I have found the simplest way to eliminate cravings is hard aerobic exercise. It works a miracle for me. Not only do I not get a craving of any sort, but I forget all about drinking after a hard workout. I realize not all have this option, especially this time of year, but even a brisk walk or snow shoveling can do the trick.
Keep up the good work, soon you will have 6 months, then a year.
