4 months sober
Since the **** hit the fan I haven't really been "working the program" but still managed to hit my 4th month. I still don't miss alcohol or weed whatsoever (although they are both in my dreams frequently). I have kept in touch with my sponsor and attended a couple of Zoom AA meetings. I typically loathe video chat which is one thing that's kept me away. Also the sound quality on my phone is terrible. I've been considering getting a webcam & mic for my PC.
Anywho, I haven't posted in quite a while but wanted to pop in to give others that may be struggling a little hope. Thanks for reading!

Congrats on your achievement. I think improved technology for video calls would be a great investment right now. Tell the truth - do you loathe video because you don't like the way you look on it? That might be the case with me.

Thanks bimini! Sleep has been really good since about a week into sobriety. At first I was on Ativan to help with any sort of detox complications. Then in the 2nd week my doc added trazodone. I'm off of Ativan now but still on trazodone. I had a plan to taper off of it before this whole pandemic situation but don't really want to mess with it since it's working. Once things normalize a bit I'll consult my doc and develop a plan. I would like to be completely off of meds by the end of the year though.

For me it's not really a vanity thing I just feel super awkward. It's getting better with each call I do. I had a nice video chat with my sister & 6 month old niece last night.
