18 Months Sober
One and 1/2 years without the damaging effects of booze in my system. Wow, it is so good to be free! I am grateful every day for this gift. I not only quit the booze, I also quit vaping (nicotine), stopped engaging in negative behavior with my family, and most importantly found my dignity and self worth...it was hiding under the rubbish 
I partied hard for 30 years. Booze, weed, coke, meth, shrooms, pills. I thought I would die a party girl, living a life of booze and drugs, sex and rock and roll. I never thought I would quit. I never wanted to quit, not for the first 20 years. And then the party was over. The last 10 years of my drinking career were nothing but self medication. What a waste.
If you are still in the party mode, or on the path of self medication. Reconsider your choices now, take a look at what you're risking, and really ask yourself...Is it worth it? After all these years, the only thing partying ever did for me was rob me of valuable time, ruin precious relationships, and took years off of my life. Trust me, just stop.
