Thank you everyone. It was just so sudden, he went from the most loving, caring, kind man I had ever met - wanting to spend time with me and talking all the time, to this cold distant person literally overnight. It’s hard to get my head around what happened 😔

FairyQueen, welcome to SR. Was it literally overnight? Or was it a period of days that, suddenly, he was a different person? If the latter, it sounds like he might have slipped or relapsed? In any case, I am so sorry. Sometimes us boozers need to be dumped to wake up and if we insist on carrying on, you don't have to be a part of that. Good for you to protect yourself. If he was as kind and worthy as you say, perhaps try to find out what the deal is with him? I wish you safety and peace and health.

I'm sorry to hear that. My relationship recently ended too and it was all so sudden. I'm really bummed about it because i feel like we have something that doesn't come around that often. Trying to not think about that too much and will try and work on myself. Hope you feel better!
