29 days today!! Excited to make it 30
I can't believe that today is my 29 days sober. I met with my sponsor for the first time yesterday and we will be meeting every week to study the big book and do step work. She seems like a pretty strict sponsor because I have to do a 6 meetings a week and I have all these prayers and meditations that I need to do daily among other things. But I think it will be good. And other good news I finally move in to my new apartment with my son on Saturday. I finally will be away from the negativity and drug use of my "friend" finally....
Looking forward to my meeting tomorrow and getting my 30 day coin😁

Congratulations on twenty nine days! Thirty tomorrow. That's a big one. So congratulations on that, too.
Sounds like you've got a good sponsor, too.
One day at a time and do what needs to be done and you'll be well on your way, as you already are.

Excellent work, we are all proud of you.
Your sponsor does sound strict but that seems to be a positive thing; it takes discipline to follow through on a goal, and if anyone can help with that discipline, even better.
So far (two days) I’ve been able to battle on willpower alone, plus the support here at SR, but if I slip up I would hope to have someone “strict” help me with the discipline. You have been sober longer than myself, so I admire you. Keep it up!
