Unexpected, but welcome
I can't even begin to describe how much of a relief it was to find out this morning that I am pregnant, and not to have to panic about whether I had too much to drink before I found out. There was a time when I was really worried that I would not be able to stop drinking during pregnancy, and that worry is the furthest thing from my mind right now (plenty of other worries, but they tell me that this is my life now )
Thank you to everyone here for your unwavering, sometimes tough-love support. I hope that if you're reading this, and you're in a place where you can't imagine being able to stop drinking, you know that it IS possible.

I know of two women who got sober the day they found out they were pregnant. One was an alcoholic, the other a weed/tobacco chain smoker. They went cold turkey. I am friends with their husbands and from what they told me, their wives have stayed sober since.
Congrats!
