Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
I want to take a moment to wish each one of you Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!
This community here at SR has been a home for me for a long time. When I came here, it was the first time in my life that I felt understood and, more than that, accepted and not judged. I hope that everyone here feels that way and I thank each of you for all the efforts that you put into supporting this amazing community.
I wish you all the very best for 2020.

Thank you, Anna! Merry Christmas to you too!
I felt the same way about coming here and being understood. Dealing with addiction can be very lonely and profoundly difficult. The only people who understand are the ones who have been there.

There's so much kindness here, this forum is such a special place for me indeed. Sending the warmest Christmas wishes to you and your family.
When you feel lonely in the evenings on the holidays, don't despair or look back. Stay strong, stay sober! You and me will wake up sober in the morning, come on!
Merry Christmas, guys!!

Merry Christmas to you too Anna and to everyone reading. In this topsy turvy world, sometimes kindness can be perceived as weakness and nobody wants to appear weak. This community has taught me that kindness is strength.... The purest, most beautiful strength. And I've also learnt that kindness is contagious. I came to this site to learn how to live without alcohol. I actually learnt how to live. Thank you Anna and Dee and everybody here.... I'd be lost without you xx
Anna - I feel exactly the same about SR. Never imagined it would come to mean so much to me. Thank you for all the time you devote to making it the special & safe place it is. Have a wonderful holiday season.
