Day 1 again!!
Well i am just taking 1 day at a time and try and get to the end of today which is always the worst day for me.... its my drinking time now so i am eating loads instead!
Good deal. I was in the same position except I think it was 9 months for me. I was in rough shape. Horrible neuropathy in my legs and feet, insomina, constant sweating, felt like my body was decaying... I drank around the clock. Didn't matter what time it was.
Today is Day 6 for me and I feel like a new person. All those health issues are gone.
You can do this. We can do this. I know how difficult it is... Hang in there. Booze really can control you after drinking daily for that long.

I understand how it is just to get through the day but my advice is don't leave it too long to start thinking of what you might do differently this time.
Think about what a recovery action plan might look like for you.

Well i did drink again Until i got quite a bad heath scare on Sunday morning after drinking all day the day before.
I woke up Sunday morning with my heart all over the place irregular heartbeat , fluctuating and palpitations .
It was straight to A & E the doctor was a little confused at first to what was causing this until he started asking questions on how much i drank, smoked etc.
Also my blood pressure was through the roof!
i was honest and was told this was a warning and must stop drinking ,smoking and cut out the caffeine .
Well its day 3 now and my heart is back to normal and so is my blood pressure i have not drank smoked or had caffeine since .
Its a wake up call but perhaps something like this was needed for me to finally stop once and for all .
