Well hows that for a kick in the nuts lol couldnt have won the bath bomb and creams basket??

But I'm proud of myself as right this moment I have someone coming to pick it up as I chose to gift it to someone else as quickly as I could.

Was that easy...honestly not really, especially when it was a free prize

but it was right and it was the healthy choice for me. And im one more day sober and one day less hungover.

Now that being said..please lord...stop testing me lol

Ha that's just sod's law isn't it. When I first started recovery I won a work raffle for a lot of very expensive spirits. They served as birthday and Christmas presents for the next 18 months

Good job on getting rid of it. I too won a bottle a booze in the first year of my sobriety. I think it was a bottle of wine. It never got opened.

Good job on passing it on!! Very different but similar thing that is happening with me at the moment is when I go to the shop that I used to buy a LOT of wine from I keep getting vouchers with my receipt for half price wine! They must be loosing a fortune with me being sober lol. 8 months ago if I had got a voucher for wine I would have gone straight to the wine shelves and bought more there and then.

Keep up the good work Mandy!! xx

Good for you for being gracious and accepting your prize then passing it on. Over the holidays its always unexpected gifts of alcohol that end up in a normie friend’s back porch. She knows who left them - Drunk Santa!
