Beginning Day 2....
I laid awake a lot last night thinking about my life. I wrote down a list of things I need to try and change in 2019 which will help with my sobriety-
I need to leave my part time weekend job. Working 7 days a week for long stretches of time really sucks, even though I enjoy the job and the people.
I need to find activities that are FOR ME and make me feel good about myself. Hiking came right to mind.
Since I need to find a new counselor I want to find one who will help me stay focused on my biggest issues and not let me derail my therapy and make it about my job or my kids. That therapy is for ME.
I’d like to get more satisfaction from my full time job. My recent promotion tells me this is very likely to happen.
Food for thought as I begin Day 2 feeling better than last night.

Hi Otter, I am so glad you're feeling better today, and that you are going to focus on self-care. It's also one of my most important goals for this year, and every year going forward. I believe it's good to know that we deserve it.
