You can do it.
It’s normal to be scared.
You’v come to the right place for support.

You’re not alone.
Cravings last around 9 mins.
All you have to do is not pour that poison down your throat
Good luck

Like you I was also terrified. I’ve been drinking for nearly 30 years! I’m no expert as this is only my third time trying and I’m on day 10.
As they say just take it a day at a time and sometimes a minute at a time when the cravings are bad. I’ve been keeping busy doing anything I can to take my mind off it.
I’ve a long way to go but trust me you’ll be surprised how quickly you start to feel better.
Good luck and if I can do it you certainly can.

keep in mind ...
its the 1st drink that gets us drunk not the 20th
we cant get drunk without that 1st drink
our choice is between miserable unhappy drunken drinking and all the consequences
or
not taking 1 drink
God bless

Fear and being scared can work two ways. One is we can be scared what life will be like without alcohol because we are so used to it. Or we can be scared as to what will happen if we CONTINUE to drink. It was the latter that convinced me to stop.
