It does get easier ❤

Well guys
Today I'm 218 days sober❤
Just wanted to reach out and say it really does get easier ...
Am awaiting blood tests that were done so I'm feeling more than a little nervous at the moment !!
Keep going
Keep pushing on
You will get stronger as your MIND adjusts to being sober

Congratulations of being 218 days sober. That's incredible. I'm 90 days in. I've been doing a lot of self-reflection regarding my alcoholism and the many negative things it caused. This morning has been particularly difficult - acknowledging it all. But I'm able to cope with it better - as opposed to when I was in the first week of sobriety - and to look to the future positively. You're right, it does get easier as you go along. Well worth it, too.

Yes it does. One of my clearest memories in a very hazy time of sobering up is a smiling counselor saying "it gets better." Didn't believe her then, but she was so right. Congrats on 218. And good news to you, it gets even easier!!
