Day four
Such a short amount of time and yet it feels so enormous to me. I went to a party and drove past a dozen liquor stores and realized at several points that it hadn't occurred to me to drink. I'm sure there are struggles ahead, but four days was a dream not long ago.
I think my favorite moment was taking out the trash and realizing there were no empties in the bin.
This time last week I was feeling dizzy and bleak on a family trip, sneaking to my room to take chugs from the bottle whenever I thought they wouldn't notice. I hate how many happy memories have been pickled in cheap, crappy wine.
