Animal therapy - puppies, nature and more!
Puppy is 9 months old and just what I needed in my life. Rambunctious, playful and some days runs circles around me. I learn quickly some days, slowly others, and it's okay. She's learning to chill, relax and take cues from me. I'm learning much that I have no words for.
Anyone have their own animal or nature therapy?

We went camping over the weekend. Took our Goldendoodle who is 7 mths old. He was scared to get into the lake, so the two dogs who were also in our group got in on each side of him and kept going out into the water then swimming back until he would go out with them. It was so sweet, they literally taught him to swim!!! He LOVED it once he got going! Soooo sweet!

Horses, ponies, dogs, a cranky old cat who rules the house, the kids have fish and we have one steer, who is 8 years old, I bought as a calf to fatten and butcher - it didn't work out!
With one of my companies, I develop seniors programs, we have art therapy as well as animal therapy for seniors. We also have animal therapy where we work with the autism society and youth in crisis. My part of the programming is all equine based. We have another lady who has developed the dog programming.

Puppy is learning to relax and be calm. It's a beautiful thing. So is her energy and enthusiasm. Favorite toy is still a tennis ball. Second favorite is a squeaky, light-up, heavy duty chew-proof rubber toy on a rope. Found it while on vacation this summer. Good times and finding balance in the small moments of life.
