24 days!

After a few months of being unable to get beyond 14 days! Well, I've made it 24 days so far and my goal is 28. In all my 30 years of drinking, I've never gone more and two weekends without drinking.

I'll be spending this Friday night watching 28 Days and When a Man Loves a Woman and wake up feeling like I've made an accomplishment.

It feels like such a long time, I feel different but a lot better this time around.

Congrats!

Congratulations! We have a lot in common - I've made it 25 days and like you, it's the first time I've gone more than two weekends in 30+ years.

I like your Friday night plan. Everyone is different - for me, what has worked best so far is waking up and simply committing myself to this day - on THIS day I will not drink. "This" day has been adding up and adding up.

Great work and keep it up!

Awesome! I look forward to hiking on weekends or learning something I'm interested in...the weekends have been my weakness and I felt like I had to focus on getting through them as they come.

Another 30 year drinker here Be proud of yourself, Rich - 24 days is a huge achievement. I remember thinking 24 hours was impossible. You're doing this!

Excellent job, rich27! You will wake up without a hangover, which is a truly wonderful thing. Have a great sober weekend!
