Has anyone tried tapping?
Yes I have heard of it and done it- for a little quicker search look up EFT tapping. There are good videos and websites out there on how to do it.
To me it helped me bring a fair bit of peace when dealing with pain and anxiety, it is a like a focused form of meditation. Basically, you are acknowledging a problem, and then accepting yourself in spite of it, speaking it out loud while tapping certain point on your upper body. Head, around the eye and mouth, collarbone and near the under arm.
It sounded funny when I first read about it, but when I tried it at the time, the focus on the tapping the points and addressing a specific feeling or issue, even just how I wanted to face the day with the proper thinking, this helped clear my head better than meditating at the time.
Everything is worth a try if it's something healthy, I think.
