Was so sick.
My goodness, just in and out of rehab and detox in the hospital. No sleep. Just passing out and waking up in 2 hours in utter panic and withdrawl. Sweating. Blackout upon black out. No actual nutrition...just gatorade, crackers and cheap vodka. To think it took me another 2 months to finally quit! Miracle I lived.
So much better today. Happy. Healthy. Life is still challenging at times but my attitude change has allowed for life to come in. I actually want to live again. Unreal.
So grateful to you all and my AA family.
To the superbly newly sober I can.only say preserve. You can do this and after this? YOU CAN DO ANYTHING!

All so true Jules...thank you for keeping it green...I was there with the blackout>wake up with a pounding heart>drink more>blackout. Just passed 11 months and so grateful.
