So I quit drinking in August and have been having night sweats since about October. I had a baby in May, so I thought it was just that. I am getting close to a year post-partum and looks like it may not be that. I am going to the doctor to get everything tested, but does it sound like I could still be having night sweats due to alcohol withdrawal almost 7 months later?

Please see your doctor. I was the same in my 30s and was going through premature menopause . Alcohol withdrawall sweats usually only last a few nights.

I'm definitely going, just going to be 2 weeks before I can get an appointment and then the labs would take another week or so. I should have done it sooner, but I really thought it was the post-partum.

It could be post pregnancy, I had them then too but they stopped when I finished breast feeding. Good luck with the tests...better to just put your mind at rest. Oh and a big congratulations on 7 months, thats terrific.

Yeah, just two nights for me too.

I never had the sweats outside of initial withdrawals, could be something hormonal. I'm sure once you see your doc you can get things figured out there.
