Going to this fish fry tonight with my daughter really because I don’t want to be at home. I want to drink when I am there. My husband never wants to go do anything because he says he is always too tired. I guess I’ll just have to be on my own these days.

I've travelled to the coast to see my mum
I will be taking her for a nice cooked breakfast tomorrow and am soooooooo looking forward to it.
I'm hungry now and it's 2335 hours here so I'm going to put my head on the pillow and have a dream about food.

Sounds like a fun night! Hope you enjoy. And I agree sometimes it really helps to get out of our usual environment, especially when that environment is where we did the majority of our drinking.

My favourite meeting was on a friday night, and we always did some socialising after. Rarely got home before midnight.

I love fish fry. It's one of my favorite foods. You'll have a good time. I'm on my own a lot too, as my husband always has an excuse for why he doesn't want to go, so I get your feelings and disappointment, especially since it would have been a family thing for you.
