Fourth day was always a killer for me, too. Felt better, anxiety gone and hey! I've got this under control. Or something along those lines.
I tied and failed many, many times for years.
Save yourself some anguish and try and make it stick this time.
All that awaits you is grief, anxiety and remorse and maybe worse if you keep on drinking.
Just telling you the straight facts from someone whose been there.

Good news is, you don't have to do it alone. We're here. AA is there. There are other means.
