When I was early in recovery, I still felt depressed and dissatisfied. It was suggested that I start to practice gratitude every day. It was hard at first but then it became a habit. Every day I count my blessings and give thanks for the joyful things/people/events in my life. It's made such a difference in my life and has strengthened my sobriety.
