Headaches

Hi

This the evening of day 5 and since I started my sober journey I've had a pressure headache.

Is this normal? Did this happen to anyone else?

Hi Tyne,
I woke with a headache everyday for atleast a week in the early days. I figured it was no worse than waking with a hangover. It did stop though and yours should too. But if you are concerned then a trip to the Doctor for a checkup may be in order?

Hang in there, day 5 is great

Yup...I had them as well. Some morning I would wake up feeling like I had a full blown hangover. Hang in Ty and congrats on day 5.

Definitely. Your body is trying to "normalize" itself. Don't be surprised if other weird things pop up. It gets better. Good job.

Yes. For about the first 8-10 days. I'm on day 5 now (round 2 of really giving booze the flick) and have a headache. But definitely get it checked out if it's not normal for you (I'm prone to headaches/migraines anyway).

Yes, I had them for three weeks or so. No fun but they do pass.
