Day One

I haven't posted here in over a year but I did well with stopping my drinking but the last few months I fell back into it. I am not a daily drinker but def a binger and the weekends are the worst for me. I am so disappointed in myself and feel so much guilt and shame. My kids deserve a sober mother and I am determined to do it for them. My plan is to start being the designated driver because that will keep me from drinking if I know I have to drive.
Thanks for listening..

welcome back Mkb0925

The problem with designated driver is its not foolproof. Folks may prevail on you to have just one drink and it's a short distance from that to everyone getting cabs home.

This is a great link on recovery plans - what they are, and what a recovery plan might look like for you
