Just checking in.. Been a while since I've started a thread. Still sober(4+months) without a drop. I've been slacking on attending meetings but, no urge to drink(I still need to make time to go). My court stuff from last Jan will be over in less than a month! It will be a huge weight lifted from me and my family/friends,whom have been nothing but supportive in my recovery.

For all of the newcomers...Know it does get better and life is WAY easier to navigate when you have a clear mind. Also..This place(SR) is a major resource, full of lots of loving,caring people who have been,or are at, where you are..There is light at the end.

Anyways...Hope everyone is well and keep on keeping on! DR

I hear you... That's the odd thing... I'm actually 'craving' a meeting instead of a drink.. Think I'll go tonight.

Awesome! Let us know how it goes. I love meetings. Feel so safe and secure. Can relax and listen or get stuff of my chest. Their my new addiction.
