New to Sober Recovery and really happy to be here
Hi, I am really grateful to have found this website, it's been really helpful to read some of the posts from other members and see that I'm not alone in this fight for recovery. At this point, I have identified that I am an alcoholic, I cannot just have "one drink", and I need support to abstain. I'm really blessed to have a addiction support worker who visits me weekly, and has helped me get on the wait list for a treatment center. It's really important to me to go to treatment because I recently became pregnant. It's been 9 days since I last drank and my goal is to quit entirely, one day at a time.
