Hey all - I've known it for a long time now, as well as those who know me best, but I need be 100% free from alcohol. It's just hard coming to terms with the fact that I can't drink like "normal people".
It's affecting my relationships, education, job, and it's begun really taking a toll on my mental wellbeing...
So thanks for listening. Thought I'd give this site a go, it's nice to know I'm not alone.

Glad to have you here. You'll find lots of supportive people here. If you haven't checked out the March 2017 class thread yet, you may want to. The classes are a great place to get to know people who are in early recovery, and a place to give and get support.
