Apple cider vinegar

I bought some today as I read it helps detox the liver and gut. It doesn't contain alcohol but it really tastes like it does and im panicking a bit.
Do any of you take it?

Every day! Just mix it in with my h20. Tons of benefits! Many people don't like the taste of it. It's not great, but if I could drink vodka straight, this is a piece of cake. Lol! Milk thistle is also a great detoxes.

Vinegar does not contain alcohol. Anxiety and panic are common during withdrawals though so please do seek help from a professional if it gets too bad.

Our liver actually detoxes itself, it's best to see a doctor if you are having Gastro issues rather than seeking home remedies.

Thank you.
I am under close supervision with my doctor as I have liver damage, I'm 43 days off booze now. I panicked because it tasted just like cider!

I've read that some kinds of vinegar still contain low amounts of alcohol, at least here in Europe that's the case. For example balsamic vinegar. I wanted to ask the same, do you feel comfortable using that? And how about bread/ pizza dough etc. Because of the yeasting process they all contain low amounts of alcohol. Does the alcohol in pizza dough (which I find smells a bit boozy after yeasting for 3-4 hours) cook away in the oven? Is that safe? I mean people let their kids eat pizza and have vinegar in their salad. Where to draw the line?

Apple cider vinegar is nasty stuff. It's really hard on your teeth, so mix it with a lot of water!

I agree with those who have deep suspicions of home remedies but when I have detoxed, I have often craved vinegar at times and tried it, while sipping water with it and it helped. I even looked it up online to find out why and apparently, it does replace electrolytes so there may be a reason a body in detox craves it. It also cuts through that sour, gunky taste in your mouth when detoxing.

That's really interesting I have had mad vinegar cravings for about a year now. I made a mistake I had about a third of a mug full, was only supposed to have a teaspoon!

It's just really acidic and burns going down! Very reminiscent!

I haven't tried it yet, but many health gurus swear it for digestive health.

It is really good for you, just don't try to drink it straight like I did a few years ago. I poured a shot glass full and sent it down the hatch. I spent the next 10 minutes with tears streaming down my face and snot coming out of my nose. All the vodka shots in the world didn't prepare me for that!

I mix maybe a tablespoon in a big glass of h20. I actually don't even measure it anymore. Just pour a bit into a large Yeti. It does contain LOTS of electrolytes. Suppose to help with energy, weight loss, sickness, digestion, candida. I started drinking it years ago and just throw a swig into a glass of h20 whenever I think about it. Not every day really. I also use it to make Italian dressing. Be sure to get the ACV with the "mother" in it. The non mother does not have the same benefits. Braggs is a good brand.

great for making salad dressings.
and my pooch gets a tablespoon every single day and has gotten that for twelve years.

if it feels dangerous to you, no need to continue taking it. there is other stuff good for the liver....such as not drinking and milk thistle.

hm.......for some bizarre reason i think now that i've sen ACV in capsule form....but how could that be??

just googled, and yes, you can get it in capsules!
