I went to the store to pick up some Gatorade my new drink, and was texting while walking into the store and naturally guess where I found myself...ofcourse in front of beer. I took a quick glance at it than walked out the Isle. The mind naturally wandered been going there for so long.

Someone asked me once if I would like a drink, I agreed automatically, until it dawned on me that I don't drink. Felt a bit silly but said, "oh, that's right I don't drink." They smiled . Good friend.

I still glance at the price of the 12-pack I used to buy almost every day while grabbing other stuff at the grocery store. Went up a buck. Probably because they don't sell as much as they used to.

I think it was someone on SR who said they always flip off the end caps with the wine when they go to the grocery! That cracked me up.

My sponsor and I happened to talk at lunch the other day about middle age (I am 40 and she is early 50s) women in the grocery store. We both notice the ones who have what look like single-women groceries (so, not a lot, usually some chicken, salad stuff, some prepared foods, whatever,) and a couple bottles of wine. We both had the same thoughts- images of a lonely life at home and unhealthy habits....glad it isn't us anymore!
