New here. Just short of 90 days sober
Just introducing myself. Got out of treatment in Michigan in November. Living in a sober living house in my town. Struggling a little. My husband totally pulled the rug out from under me after I was in treatment for a week and a half and told me he was leaving me. We have a 14 month old together who he is allowing me to see very little. So things are a bit tough right now needless to say, but I'm still sober😕

I'm so sorry to hear that, sticking to your sobriety and ensuring your treatment records (ongoing) demonstrate your strong commitment to recovery and abstinence will assist you in custody disputes. So if you feel temptation, consider the impact it may have on your future custody rights for that extra incentive
I hope you have a good night tonight and post here often for support.

Life can still be tough once you get clean. Be assured, no matter how things work out with your husband, you are doing the best thing for your child and yourself by continuing to work on yourself.
Stay on the path and good luck!

Welcome, Suewu!
Together we are strong. We are always here for support. You have an incredible 90 day run so do whatever it takes to stay sober. You have so much to gain by not drinking ever again. You can do this!!

I am going to at least one NA or AA meeting a day, working with my sponsor- I am on Step 4, seeing an addictions counselor once a week, going to a daily house meeting at my sober living house, going to Celebrate Recovery once a week and keeping in constant contact with God. Some days even with all the support I get from these groups etc it's still emotionally tough. But I'm glad to be off pain pills and all other drugs.
