Oh Moving I had hoped you would have gone to the hospital after your ' hospital or death'thread a couple of weeks ago.
Unfortunately the only one that can stop this is you. I hope you choose to go to the ER.

I truly hope yer done with the Russian roulette and get the help you deserve and not allow the excuses to not get help control you.
I have found journaling in the worst moments works wonders for giving yourself a reality check the next time you are thinking about starting this sick cycle again. I would always tell myself "Oh it wasn't so bad..." until I couldn't say that anymore because I had pages and pages and pages about how just damn back it actually is.
Something needs to happen, there are two ways this can go- please seek help, it will only continue to escalate until it is too late and you deserve better than that. You deserve to be happy, wake up in the morning feeling great, to go to bed at night knowing you won't have any regrets in the morning.
Recovery has allowed me to love and respect myself finally..please don't rob yourself of that.

Dear MovingForward, make this day that you make that life-saving and life-changing first step. Call a friend, a taxi, an ambulance and get to the ER; they can coordinate a medically-supervised detox to make the withdrawals less painful and less dangerous.
Trust us when we say there is an exponentially better way to live; detox is the first step. Once you have completed that step, there are many choices for support to help you maintain your sobriety and find the true reward of recovery.
SR is here for you 24/7/365, MovingForward. Take that first step; you can do this.

Mf1,
You are not stupid. You are addicted.
You need a dr. To get through the detox.
Then the physical and mental healing begin.
It will likely take several weeks to pull out of the deepest depth of the addiction.
Then a few months to get used to normal.
It is worth it. Sobriety is how we are designed to live.
Boozing is a learned behavior. It can be unlearned.
Thanks.
