47 Weeks
I am now at 47 weeks sober.
This past week was my biggest challenge so far on this journey. I had a week long conference in San Jose with multiple dinners and social events (all with free alcohol).
I had mentally prepared myself before arriving to the city for every event and every scenario that may present itself. Because of that and checking in here, I was able to stay strong. I had my diet coke and kept busy just genuinely talking to people. It is with no surprise that I learned more and met more people than any of the prior conferences.
So keep to your plans, we can do this!
