addicted to betablokers, out of control
i have been taking betablokers for thirty years on and off, but now it is on all the time.i am taking over four times the maximum of tablets, and i am becoming immune to betablokers.every two or three weeks, i start to get the shakes and jitters, and increase tablets
I think you should speak with your doctor about that.
I was taking beta blockers and stopped because they were causing me problems. I was taking them for anxiety, but found they increased my heart palpitations, made me depressed and also caused extreme fatigue and exercise intolerance. Since, I was not taking them to control my blood pressure, there was no point in continuing a drug that was causing me problems.
Maybe, since you are taking far too much of the drug, you are experiencing the jitters "because" of the beta blockers.

Welcome to the forum. For sure something to talk to your doc about. I have severe anxiety and asked my doc about being put on beta blockers for anxiety, but they apparently are only for situational anxiety and shouldn't be taken all the time unless you have a heart condition which they are designed for.
You may have an anxiety disorder that is being improperly medicated and abusing them is a very bad idea as they can give you dangerously low blood pressure.

I never abused them, actually I never knew they could be abused otherwise I might have tried, but they made me feel worse in the long run.
Have a chat to your Doctor, there will be a way forward.
Good luck
