My business went bust today and still no drinking
Hi guys,
We've had a fun day here,
For the last few months we have been fighting the taxman to try and negotiate a deal to pay off an old debt after a client failed to pay me £7000.
A few weeks ago we had a winding up petition delivered against us and today the bank froze our business account which ultimately brought the end.
Normally I'd see this as an excellent opportunity to go out and get bladdered but today I'm sitting in a hotel drinking ice cold bottled water.
Luckily I have another very small business where I've managed to transfer our decent clients to and I'm now in a clear frame of mind to take on the challenge of building that up minus the tax debt problem.
I just wanted to share for my own good,
I hope everyone is good,
Bruno.

Thanks very much guys,
Yes it certainly is a lot easier when sober to take on a bad situation. If I was still in my old cycle of drinking/hangover/drinking I would dread to think the effect that it would have on my family life now.
Onwards and upwards

Thanks Bruno, you just reminded me about my hefty tax bill. Youv left me no choice but too snap and also go and drink all the cold water 😂
But seriously, glad to hear you have a backup business. And dont get me started on Clients not paying, I know all about it.

The only things I couldn't climb out of were the things that I did to myself or that happened to me while I was drinking. Getting sober and setting things right in my life, which includes making amends to other people, only made me stronger, regardless of the outcomes. And I didn't even know that this was happening until it had been going on for awhile.
Tackling challenges head-on sober and in an excellent recovery program will yield successful outcomes. We learning and we are proud of how it was handled and embrace the problem.
Wishing you the very best Bruno. Congrats on keeping it together, it is paramount to life success and happiness.
