Stayin Strong through Monday Blues
Stayin Strong through Monday Blues
Hi All,
I've posted a few times on here about my devastating binge drinking this weekend. It started Friday night, woke up with a hangover Saturday, drank to make it go away and realized I had no control over my actions when I choose alcohol. I did some really embarrassing and shameful things that I never would have done sober. I let rage take over.
I work in fitness professionally and I got my classes covered this morning.....not to "give up", but my body and head have been killing me all night...don't remember a hangover ever that bad for so long....I'm hoping to let my body finish recovering and to continue to get my head on straight here.
Congratulations on everyone's decisions to stay sober today!

Hi WC
Hangovers get worse and turn into withdrawal over time with repeated abuse.
Sounds like your plan was to take it easy and recuperate today. What are you going to do to make sure you aren't in the same situation again?
