19 Weeks
I am at 19 weeks sober now. I have a counseling session this Friday - I am paying for these out of my own pocket now just to help keep me accountable.
Really trying to focus on getting in shape now that the nice weather is rolling in. Nice weather and a pub patio were always a big drinking combination for me so I need to do some distracting activities if the urge pops up.

I peeled apart what was going on by imagining myself going to the pub , sitting in the garden in the sunshine and drinking a lemonade …
I didn't find the scenario attractive , so i knew it was just my addiction trying to do a number on me.
These days i go to country pubs for food , have a refreshing drink and am alert enough to drive and go for a walk , rather than sitting round wanting to get hammered a long way from my home .
